Mateo's Hot Spot is a mobile catering company based in Pacific Beach, San Diego.
Matthew Gorton, entrepreneurial mastermind and local native, saw the need for a chain of street carts serving up delicious hot dogs like other vibrant cities in the U.S.A. Richard Morris was enticed into leaving one catering company to join up with Matthew and add a catering side to the business.
Matthew brought his expertise of customer service and presentation learned from many years at the local top restaurants such as Roy's, George's on the Cove, and Piatti's. Richard brought his management skills from many years as a merchant marine officer.
Together they are dedicated to bringing quality foods with excellent service to make any occasion memorable and stress-free.
